An afternoon and early evening of films and lively discussion. VideoPool Screening Room 3rd floor, 100 Arthur Street (in the Art Space Building). Saturday, November 4, 2pm-6pm.

  • Theatre Activism: An Overview of Theatre of the Oppressed
    In this workshop we will explore the power of theatre to create dialogue on social issues and inspire thought towards change. We will take a closer look at the principles of The Theatre of the Oppressed created by Brazilian visionary, Augusto Boal with an emphasis on Forum and Invisible theatre. Participants will be equipped to develop themes, characters and short scenarios to be put into practice outside of the workshop space.
